Welcome. I received my first Brother Knitting Machine about thirty years ago. I was a young mother and a college student at the time. I tried learning on my own for years until I found several different teachers who sent me on my way to a lifetime of learning and knitting pleasure. I have been out of control ever since! Many new machines have joined my first! It always is a challenge to learn the unique differences and abilities of each machine.

As the years past I added teaching elementary school and teaching machine knitting to my life. Running a knitting business has grown from both of these loves. I learned hand knitting and crocheting as a child, and love them also, but having a machine has made a huge impact on my life. It has made making knitted items for friends and family a pleasure. I discovered that with machine knitting making things takes so much less time. Even very complicated items are a breeze. My personal preferences fall into the traditional realm: Fair Isle, lace, and tuck. I have made afghans, sweaters, shawls, socks, hats, mittens, lace things, cable things, multicolored things.

As all hobbies wax and wain, machine knitting is still a part of my life. We have a growing community of machine knitters that enjoy meeting and sharing ideas. Our monthly club meetings were the outgrowth of this desire to share.

My knitting business in another step forward in my outreach to new machine knitters or knitters who want to continue to enjoy this wonderful hobby or revive their rusty skills. This site is a mixture of new and pre-owned books and machines in the store along with club news and items of interest to our group. I found a great need for bringing new life to machines that might have been left unused and unloved for years. I will be adding information and lessons to this site on a regular basis.
